Our Mission & Governance

At Earth Weavers, we are committed to creating positive social and environmental impact. Our mission is to empower marginalized women through sustainable fashion by providing them with skills training, entrepreneurship support, and access to markets. We work to reduce textile waste through circular design and upcycled materials, promoting a more sustainable fashion industry while preserving cultural craftsmanship.

  • Our Social Mission
We empower women in Lebanon and Iraq, giving them the tools to become independent entrepreneurs and artisans. By offering training in sustainable fashion and entrepreneurship, we provide women with the opportunity to build sustainable livelihoods, reduce inequality, and contribute to their local economies.

  • Our Governance
Earth Weavers is registered as a Société Anonyme Libanaise (S.A.L.) in Lebanon. Although Lebanon does not yet have a specific legal structure for social enterprises, our Articles of Association clearly define our commitment to both social and environmental goals. Our mission to empower women, promote sustainability, and contribute to local communities is embedded in our governing documents.

We are proud to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically focusing on SDGs 1 (No Poverty), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 10 (Reduced Inequalities), 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), 13 (Climate Action), 15 (Life on Land), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
